The Dixie State Trailblazers are playing the spoiler role down the stretch of the 2021-22 season. Dixie State is not eligible for the WAC tournament as it is in the second year or a 4-year transition to the Division I level.
And so far, GCU and Utah Valley have felt that pain. New Mexico State escaped the Trailblazers twice. And CBU, Seattle, ACU and Grand Canyon better all be on their toes.
Hunter Schofield has been a big part of the Trailblazers’ success. And Dixie State never gives up on a game as shown in the wins over GCU and UVU plus an earlier win over CBU.
