On this episode of The WAC Hoops Digest Podcast, the early season struggles for the conference are discussed. From losing winnable games to struggling against Division I opponents. The injury bug has hit some teams really hard, most notably New Mexico State. Seattle, Utah Valley, Grand Canyon have all struggled early on as has the rest of the conference. Chicago State has as many wins in 2019-20 as it did all of 2018-19. However, the Cougars have lost by an average margin of 40 points against Division I opponents.

Some players have had a really good start to the season. Grand Canyon’s Jovan Blacksher Jr., New Mexico State’s Trevelin Queen and Seattle’s Terrell Brown all doing big things on a consistent basis.

There is still a lot of basketball to be played and the WAC will improve. It has just been a major struggle early on in 2019-20.
